One Leg Left To Stand On

OLLTSO started as Matthew Downes (Left Of The Right Side) recording and producing music in his bedroom after the split of 13Down, his screamo side-project with close friend Gary Pullen. After writing and recording two albums, the latter of which was never released, 13Down began falling apart and Matt decided to continue on his own, describing the feeling of writing music without Gaz's musical input as ‘like having one leg left to stand on’, and so the name was born.

Over the next few years Matt produced some of his most inspired work across a variety of genres, time signatures and instruments. Currently Matt is working with Communal Fridge to re-release albums, such as the 'Getting Older EP' and a CD Collection of 'The Singles', and has also been working on a new EP '...And The Bandit Coughed' which is now available listen to on this website!
